after having a freakin sweet extended weekend with the most funnest person in the whole entire world…i’ve got to get my arse in gear. i feel the wind blowing me into the face of change. yeow. woot!
starting off…i am a writer but don’t read like i should. it’s cool to visit the book loft in german village…there are rooms and rooms of books.
my new goal is to read three books in a month. i have calculations to assist me…keep me on track. i need goals to break…the three books are: twilight (stephenie meyer), the audacity of hope (barack obama–i know i’m late) and a suggestion from someone i don’t really know but is cool nonetheless, sex, drugs and cocoa puffs (*a low culture manifesto) (chuck klosterman).
the funnest person in the whole entire world also sat-in on my swimming lessons…that i’m sooo looking forward to attending tomorrow. it sox i forgot how to swim…but these lessons are really enjoyable.
things i’ve done in the last week:
saw ‘oprah winfrey’s the color purple’ play
got owned at mini-golf and air hockey (as usual, with the funnest person in the entire world)
met a cool guy at the guitar attention center / the guitar attention center has the best staff…i used to frequent the one in boston, too and it was no different
took the funnest person in the entire world to my favorite childhood bookstore…darkstar in yellow springs (who, by the way, is having a free comic book day, may 2…FREE COMICS!!!!!!!)
had the best asparagus ever
played guitar and owned at guitar hero…(don’t say it…)
had an in-store go at the drums on ‘rock band’
watched my obsessive show…got disappointed, again
hung out in cincinnati
met a friend i’ve known for 3 years…in person who turned out to be a stellar freakin cool dude
felt mediocre about two movies i was previously excited about “fast and furious” and “the soloist”
had way too much coffee
performed my lazy breakdancer move…for a giggly audience of one
whew.
and it is president barack obama’s 100th day in office and he’s done more good than bush did in 2920 days.
